The 1000 Series crankbaits measure only 1.5 inches long, but when cast, it tracks true throughout the retrieve. This crankbait runs very shallow, only 6 to 12 inches, making it perfect for schooling fish that are feeding on young fry at the surface in early spring. Although this lure does not have a rattle chamber, it is ideal for fishing very shallow, clear water and highly pressured fish. 1000 series crankbaits work well on medium to light spinning gear and with lines as light as 6 to 8 pound test.
